Season 12 registration opens June 26 at 8:00 AM

Programs

  • Our Academy Program was created to give non-competitive dancers a more well-rounded dance education. With additional weekly training, dancers have the opportunity to explore more styles, build stronger skills, and gain confidence in a supportive team environment.

    Benefits:

    • Strong friendships and teamwork

    • Increased confidence and faster progress

    • Discounted class rates

    • Focus on training rather than multiple costumes and routines

    • Multiple performance opportunities (routines) at our annual recital

Provides a strong foundation for dancers who may wish to transition into competitive dance in the future so they do not feel “behind”.

    Performance Opportunity:

    • Annual Spring Recital at the Mcintyre Performing Arts Centre Saturday May 29, 2027 at 5pm (Mandatory Dress Rehearsal Friday May 28, 2027)

Academy Program dancers train weekly in:

    • Jazz

    • Tap

    • Ballet

    • Acrobatics

Additional class options are available for dancers looking to further expand their training.

Safety and Functionality

Proper attire is essential not only for effective training but also for ensuring dancer safety. For instance, baggy sweaters obscure body alignment, making it challenging to correct posture and thus hindering progress. Similarly, securing hair in a bun is crucial to avoid distractions and prevent injuries during partner work, lifts, floor routines, and turns.
